You make an informed decision The web is a wonderful tool for gathering information. Every vendor has a website extolling the virtues of their tours and more often than not claiming to be "the Best on Kauai". But how do you sort the fact from the fiction? Here at CondoReady, our mandate from vacation rental provider is to make sure you have a great time while you are here on island so you will tell all your friends about the great accommodations you had when you get back to the mainland. We ask you what you want to do What you will hear from our staff when you call Guest Services: "What kinds of activities are you interested in doing while on island?" What you will never hear from our staff: "Everybody loves boat cruises. You just have to see the Na Pali coast on Capt. Bob's boat is the best for everyone!". Most guests have an idea what they want to do when they get here. We try to facilitate the process of choosing the right vendor by providing honest information about almost every tour company. Only if we are asked for suggestions, will we do so. You get a choice On Kauai we have many very good tour companies. Each has their own style and differences. There is no "best" for everyone. We beleive in finding the tour that is best for you which may not be same as for the family next door or for the honeymooners across the parking lot. We base our vendor recommendations on many factors. We will ask you questions about the type tour or activity you have inquire about (i.e. on a boat trip, does anyone have a problem with seasickness? Do you prefer a smooth ride or a more “extreme” ride?, etc.) After determining your requirements, we will outline your choices with recommendations based on guest feedback, our personal experience and availability. You make the choice. You can use our experience and resources to choose the tour that best suits your party's needs and experience levels. We guide you away from overrated and problem vendors. We can tell you about almost any vendor on the island, good and bad. We do not accept money from vendors other than standard commissions. We have no conflicts of interest with regarding to booking the appropriate tour for you. Many activity desk companies are directly associated or owned by tour vendors. They will do their best to book you on their own tours rather than the tour that is right for you. We will not try convince you to take any specific kind of tour. Why we do not have "Activity Orientations" We do not have "activity orientations" because that limits your choices. The "presenting" vendors pay the activity desk vendor in one way or another for the privilege of your undivided attention. This often has little to do with being the best vendor for your needs. Visitors are sold specific tours that are associated with the desk. That is in the best interest of the desk owner but not of the guest. That is not the CondoReady way. We do not have a financial stake in any tour on island so there is no conflict of interest. You are not required to pay for any tour ahead of time We ask for your credit card number only to confirm reservations. On rare occasion, we are required to take a deposit but we will not charge a card until the day of the tour. Most tours have a 24 hour prior to tour cancellation policy. We will inform you of the policy at the time of reservation. The only time you would get charged would be in case of a no-show. We will make changes to your itinerary at no additional cost. The exception is one bus tour company that requires payment at the time of confirmation. We give you our personal attention You get Team CondoReady when you use our guest services. When you talk to anyone at CondoReady, the information goes out to the rest of the team so you get the personal attention you deserve. This is important when weather or other considerations create changes in your itinerary. We make the calls while you are sitting on the beach. We will never ask you to attend a timeshare presentation While timeshares are for some people, we do not believe in luring anyone into a situation where they are forced to sit through a presentation in exchange for discounts. The presenters have a high rate of success in sales because they know how to get people to buy on emotion and impulse. If you are going to buy a timeshare wait until you come back from vacation and make an informed decision. We want you to have a great vacation. |
