Where to buy groceries

There are no superstore markets on Kauai. Large is 15 or more ailes, Medium is about 10, small is less 6 or fewer.

6a-11p		 Koloa Medium sized. Decent prices. Shelves can get cleared out by Monday
Sueoka's
7a-9p		 Koloa Not a bad little market. Less selection than Big Save particularly in the produce and frozen sections but prices are generally competitive.
Kukui'ula Koloa Small. Better for liquor and beef.
Star Market
6a-11p		 Lihue Higher end and largest between Poipu and the airport, large produce section, cheeses and specialty items more available. You do pay for the priviledge.
Costco
M-F 11a-8p
Sa 9:30a-6p
Su 10a-6p		 Lihue The fastest Costco in the country. Generally you can by a few items and get out in 15 minutes. Best meat on the island.
Safeway
24hrs		 Kapa'a Hey it's Safeway but it's not a superstore. If you are on the southshore it's not really worth the drive (45 minutes + traffic) besides your ice cream will melt.
Foodland
6a-11p		 Kapa'a Same as Safeway but not Safeway.
